A campaign to give girls the opportunity to discover science, and the upcoming Limmud conference in Jerusalem are today’s topics.
First, VOI’s Molly Livingstone is joined in-studio by “Dr. Mom” Yael Schuster, who describes her campaign, “The Know It Alls,” and explains why she is determined to give girls the same opportunities she had as a child to discover science. She talks about the science toy “like no other” that she has created, with an adventure book, chemistry kit and membership to an online community.
Then, Molly is joined in-studio by Nadia Levine and Regev Ben David, co-chairs of this year’s Limmud Jerusalem Conference. They talk about the two-day event, taking place August 27-28, filled with lectures and cultural activities for participants of all ages, backgrounds, beliefs and lifestyles. They also note the conference’s venue, the capital of the Jewish people, which plays a key role in its success. listen now
