Daniel Mael, a young student activist on the college scene joins Ari Abramowitz to tell what it’s like battling anti-Semitism on campus. Daniel talks about uncovering anti-Semitism under the surface, revealing truths and subsequently how other students in the university petitioned for him to be suspended and ultimately how this lead him to become a spokesperson for Israel. He addresses whether American Jewish college students are turned off to and afraid to approach the subject of Israel.
Author Elliot Jager and VOI’s Ruthie Bloom join Ari in-studio to discuss Elliot’s book, “The Pater: My Father, My Judaism, My Childlessness.” Elliots book is a memoir about being fatherless, growing up on the Lower East side in Alphabet City and about relationships and reconciliation.
Robin Rosenblatt of the Israel Longhorn Project joins Ari to explain the importance of bringing Texas Longhorn cattle to Israel. The Texas Longhorn cattle is a desert cattle and was in Israel 3000 years ago, Robin tells the story of how they ended up in Texas and why it is so important to bring them back to Israel. He tells of the symbiotic relationship between the land of Israel and the Texas Longhorn cattle. listen now
