Guess Who’s Obligated to Protect Iran’s Nuclear Program(50:51)

VOI’s Dan Diker is joined by US-based Iran affairs analyst Omri Ceren and Pentagon veteran Harold Rhode to unpack the controversial deal.

Revealing some of the details of the nuclear deal, Ceren says the final agreement between the Iranian regime and the US-led P5+1 not only legitimizes Iran as a nuclear power, but guarantees Western protection of Iran’s nuclear program.

Then, Islamic affairs expert Rhode describes the cultural vacuum between the sides to the agreement, which he says means it will fail. Arab affairs analyst Bassem Eid subsequently reveals why the historic high-risk gamble is more than likely to trigger a nuclear arms race throughout the Middle East. listen now
