The Live@5 panel takes issue with Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid’s assessment about the imminent agreement between the P5+1 and Iran.
As the deadline for a nuclear deal with Iran draws closer, and the Western powers appear likely to sign a bad deal, Yesh Atid party chairman and former finance minister Yair Lapid stated: “On this issue there is no opposition and coalition in Israel. We’re all united against a bad deal.” He did however, go on to say, “If this bad deal is signed, it is a failure” of PM Netanyahu’s. The panel thinks a bad deal is imminent, but not the failure of Israel’s prime minister.
