Though shy of his 17th birthday, Muhammad Zoabi was forced to leave his school, his home and his country as a result of numerous death threats he received, all for being a Muslim Arab and an Israeli patriot.
Zoabi speaks in-studio with VOI’s Molly Livingstone about his struggle to be a normal teenager under the circumstances and of his goals for the future.
Then, Kay Wilson, victim and survivor of a December 2010 terrorist attack, during which she was stabbed 13 times with a machete, surprises Zoabi during the interview by joining in via phone.
Wilson, who harbored Zoabi this summer, talks about why she felt had to rescue him and their connection through terrorism.
