Live@5 Panel with Glen Ladau

If the Copenhagen Attack Was a 'Wake-Up Call,' What Were All Its Predecessors?

16 February 2023

Were Saturday's attacks in Copenhagen merely another example of "random" acts, or should Jews throughout Europe be concerned? Why did the NY Times obfuscate the fact that the perpetrator was a Muslim, stressing instead that he was Danish-born? And why are people offended by PM Netanyahu's telling world Jewry that "Israel is your home?"

In the wake of today's passing of Uri Orbach, Israel's Minister of Senior Citizens Affairs and Member of Knesset in the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party, the Panel discusses his reputation as one of the most well-liked and respected men in the Knesset.

As controversy continues to swirl around PM Netanyahu's proposed speech to the US Congress, the Panel asks, "What about Iran?" Isn't it the real issue? What might Israel's enemies think of President Obama's refusal to meet with PM Netanyahu while he is in the US next month?
