Suffering Another Slanted Condemnation(10:47)
|
The Live@5 panel criticizes the hypocrisy of the UNHRC's biased treatment of Israel.
Last week, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a report condemning Israel for war crimes ostensibly committed during Operation Protective Edge. It called the death, destruction and human suffering in Gaza “unprecedented.” Given the death, destruction and human suffering occurring all over the Middle East, the panel considers this statement indicative of just how biased the report is. The panel also points to the significance of India’s having abstained from the vote on the report, while the European powers voted in favor of its findings.
