In Jerusalem this week for the 35th Conference on Jewish Genealogy, Alex Denysenko and Marla Raucher Osborn join VOI’s Judy Lash Balint.
Genealogy is the second most popular hobby in the US after gardening. Alex Denysenko is a Lviv-based professional researcher who helps Jewish families research their roots. Marla Raucher Osborn, a US-born attorney, has spent the past 15 years living and working in western and central Europe and is one of the most active members of the Rohatyn Shtetl Research Group. Alex and Marla, in Jerusalem for the 35th Conference on Jewish Genealogy, join VOI’s Judy Lash Balint in-studio to give some tips for beginning genealogists. listen now
