Interior Minister Silvan Shalom's Hopes for the Peace Process

The Israeli prime minister presented his new government to President Rivlin this afternoon.
He said he would work towards peace and cooperation with other Middle Eastern powers, and would protect Israel's interests in any agreement with the Palestinians.
Interior Minister Silvan Shalom, appointed as the politician responsible for talks with the Palestinians, told VOI's Raoul Wootliff about his hopes for the peace process.
