VOI's Mottle Wolfe discusses the destruction of Jewish homes in Beit El, Jonathan Pollard's release and Palestinian animal cruelty.
First, Israel’s Supreme Court upheld the order for Wednesday’s demolition of two structures in the Judea and Samaria (West Bank) settlement of Beit El, which required the removal of 200 protesters from the buildings. Mottle contrasts this event to the Supreme Court’s efforts to prevent the destruction of Palestinian dwellings in Susya.
Then, Mottle asks why the Obama administration is attempting to play down the release of long-imprisoned Jonathan Pollard.
Finally, Mottle discusses a video that surfaced last week of Palestinians brutally killing a hyena. He wonders if one can learn about a society’s attitude toward human life from the manner in which it treats animals.
