VOI's Judy Lash Balint remembers the 2005 Gaza Disengagement, sharing personal reflections and visiting the Gush Katif Museum in central Jerusalem.
She describes the unique atmosphere of the small Jewish communities that once populated the Gaza Strip, and the strength of the people who built their homes there.
Then, Judy visits the Gush Katif Museum for a tour of the facility that includes a memorial room, a timeline that traces the history of the Jewish presence in Gaza, and many artifacts from the destroyed communities.
