Healing Powers and Musical Messages
On today's show, Rabbi Shlomo Crandall, Midwest Regional Director of the Chai Lifeline Organization, is in Israel on a "wish-granting" trip with 13 Jewish children suffering from chronic illnesses. He discusses how the experience is touching the lives of the kids, who are fighting to enjoy life despite their condition.
Also in-studio is "Mindy," the mom of one of the participants.
Then, jazz musician Lay Z Gordon and his "Starting 5" band come in-studio to jam. Lay Z talks about how Israel inspires his music.
