International law expert Alan Baker tells Dov Lipman that Israel need not worry about a Palestinian suit in the International Criminal Court.
Baker, former Israeli ambassador to Canada, lists the reasons he says the claim will be dismissed: The Palestinians do not have a state; there is no proof that an Israeli committed the arson attack in the village of Duma; and that the mandate of the court is to prosecute individuals, not states. Baker also explains why Israel has the right to force-feed hunger-striking prisoners when it is determined that doing so will save their lives. listen now
