Silver Linings in the Nuclear Cloud(25:05)
|
VOI's Gil Hoffman is joined by Mideast expert Meir Javedanfar, who shares his optimistic take on the Iran deal.
Javedanfar, who teaches at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center, says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is overdoing it in his opposition to the nuclear agreement. He argues that Israel has never been stronger; there will be increased inspections of Iran’s nuclear facilities; and the Arak plutonium reactor will cease to be a threat. He also analyzes internal Iranian politics in the wake of the deal.
