‘A Potentially Tragic Day’(50:51)

As world leaders continue their efforts to convince the public that the deal signed with Iran is a good one, it seems only Israel and US Republicans are voicing opposition. The panel lays out the reasons why this may be the case, while agreeing that the deal is not only bad for Israel, but for the entire world.
The panel also addresses the issue of whether the Israeli government could have done more to prevent this situation. While some on the panel feel it is appropriate to hold PM Netanyahu responsible for this “failure,” others believe it wrong to be pointing fingers.
The discussion on Iran continues as the panel addresses where the $100+ billion that the Islamic Republic will likely receive over the next year will wind up — in the hands of its citizens or the hands of terrorists. The panel also lays out the basic points they believe can be focused on in order to bring people to Israel’s side of the issue.
The panel also addresses what influence the desire to be a Nobel Peace Prize winner may have had on the negotiations, and whether the Western powers understand Middle Eastern and Islamic culture.
