The Origins and Purpose of Life(50:33)
|
Jeremy Gimpel is joined by an Orthodox Jew and scientist with a new theory of the universe and a bridger of gaps within Israeli society.
He is joined by Dr. Jeremy England, assistant professor at MIT, who believes he is on the path to discovering the origins of life. Is there a hidden hand that’s pushing all these things together or not? Can God be discovered in this discovery?
Then, Jeremy is joined in-studio by Daniel Goldman, chairman of Gesher, an organization that aims to close the gap between secular, religious and ultra-Orthodox Jews in Israel. Goldman shares the story of his immigration to Israel, and talks about the impact that Gesher (which means “bridge” in Hebrew) has had in the country, through its work in high schools, the IDF and on campus.
