The Live@5 Panel debates the deal made with a hunger-striking terrorist.
Khader Adnan, a leader of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group, currently an administrative detainee in an Israeli prison, will be released in two weeks, in exchange for his ending his 55-day hunger strike. Why would the government give in and release him? What are the considerations? Does Israel have an obligation to stop him from starving himself to death? Does this decision show strength or weakness on the part of the government?
