Inspiration and Redemption(50:51)
|
Rabbi Trugman, a member of the founding family of Moshav Meor Modiim and director of Ohr Chadash — a non-profit educational organization for exploring Judaism in a non-coercive atmosphere — explains how to connect to the “nine days” and the 9th of Av. He says that all the prophesies are coming true in the world right now: There is something in the air, a feeling of suffering, but anticipation. He points to the phenomenon of the eve of Tisha B’Av being sad, yet as soon as noon arrives the following day, there is a completely different energy — a hopeful mood about the coming of the Messiah.
Then, Ari and Jeremy are joined by Rebbetzin Trugman, author of Tales from the Talmud, who talks about her new book — a coloring book for children with stories from Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. She says that learning is an interactive experience, and that this coloring book is an inter-generational experience for the entire family.
