A Verbal Assault from Obama, Missiles from Gaza(50:51)
|
In his press conference, President Obama claimed that no one has provided logic to refute his claim that the world will be in a better position to deal with an Iran that may seek nuclear weapons in the future as a result of this deal. The panel provides the logic he requested, laying out its reasons why it will be more difficult to deal with Iran in the future.
President Obama attempts to paint this as a battle between him and PM Netanyahu, claiming in his press conference that 99% of the world supports the deal. The panel discredits this evaluation of support, and debates what, if any, silver lining may come out of this battle.
While nearly all Jewish and pro-Israel organizations have come out in support of Israel’s position on the deal, the self-proclaimed pro-Israel organization J Street supports the deal as being good for Israel. The panel questions the organization’s “pro-Israel” credentials, and talks about the threat it poses to the Jewish community.
Finally, addressing an issue other than Iran, the panel discusses the continuation of rockets fired from Gaza, and Israel’s response to it — increasing the number of trucks carrying goods into the strip. They ask, “Where is the outrage?”
The panel ends the week pondering which Israeli star is more popular in the country — Gal Gadot, the new Wonder Woman in the upcoming “Superman vs. Batman” movie, or supermodel Bar Rafaeli.
