An Israeli start-up announces an international day of supportive gestures, and tells us how we can all take part.
In this web exclusive, VOI’s Molly Livingstone speaks with MadeinJLM founders Roy Munin and Hanan Brand to find out why they initiated International #FirgunDay — July 17 — for the purpose of doing something to make someone else feel good. The name comes from the Hebrew verb “lefargen,” which means to be supportive or wish well. Munin and Brand also talk about the Jerusalem Hackathon; how to engage in “firgun” online; and introduce us to the “firgunator.”
