VOI's Knesset insider Jeremy Saltan describes today's emergency anti-violence session which quickly turned volatile.
During the session, held in spite of the Knesset’s summer recess, members of the opposition blamed the coalition parties for creating an atmosphere that invited the attacks. In response, Likud Minister Gilad Erdan criticized those who condemn anti-Arab terror, but fail to mention the attacks against Jews — including last night’s fire-bomb thrown at Jewish motorists in Jerusalem. Saltan says the session was one of the most chaotic in recent memory.
